"I've always believed I was created to create."

Growing up, my mom spent hours immersed in her oil paintings, producing stunning works of art that adorned the walls of our home. My dad, a master of many crafts, was always busy making something—whether it was furniture, dollhouses, or even a two story porch.

It was inevitable that I would find my own creative path. But it took me a few years of exploring different mediums to discover my true love. I tried oil painting, tole painting, painting furniture—heck, I even gave pottery a go (let me tell you, pottery is no joke!).

Then, in my mid-twenties, I signed up for a class called Jewelry Making 101—and that was it. I was hooked from day one. Over several weeks, I learned everything from basic wire work to stringing and bead weaving. From that moment on, I threw myself into perfecting my craft. Over the years, I’ve taken countless classes in different jewelry styles, including one with Swarovski—the masters of crystals.

In 2009, I became a bead supply retailer after my husband humorously pointed out that our house had become more of a bead storage unit than living space. So, we decided to share my passion with the world. Opening my bead store was a dream come true, especially when I stocked it with beautiful semi-precious gemstones and crystals—materials I’ve always been fascinated by.

During my time running the store, customers began calling me the “Jewelry Lady,” and the name has stuck ever since. I’ve even introduced myself that way a few times (and it never fails to get a smile). It was also during this time that I discovered my love for teaching jewelry-making. Sharing my skills with others and seeing them create something uniquely their own became a passion I never expected—but now, it's one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

When the world changed in 2019, I took a new step on my journey by earning my diploma in crystal healing. People needed positive energy more than ever, and I knew that crystal healing jewelry could be my way of helping others find peace and balance.

Jewelry-making is my heart and soul, and I truly love sharing it with others. Whether I’m standing in front of a classroom full of eager creators or walking into a bead shop (still get butterflies!), I’m excited to be part of someone’s creative journey.

When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me tucked away in my home studio (usually with my doggy nearby), lost in the bliss of creating—where time seems to disappear, and I’m just living the dream.

Thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to read my story. I hope it inspires you to follow your own dreams.

With love, light and good intentions.
